Working for this large international Operator, you will be involved in both technical work and also licencing applications in preparation for the 21st round in Norway.
Based in new offices in central Stavanger, your technical responsibilities will include:
* geological studies
* geological modelling
* reserve and resource evaluation/assessment
* estimation of reserves
* development optimisation plans
The role is a Senior Development Geologist and therefore relates primarily to the development of drilling locations close to existing producing wells. Experience however of Exploration Geology is advantageous.
* First degree in Geology along with secondary qualification - either MSc or PhD level
* Significant experience in both Explorations and Development projects
* Experience of Licencing Applications - ideally 20th round experience from Norway
* Knowledge of the NPD and PSAN procedures
* Knowledge and experience of working on the Norwegian Continental Shelf |
