International Operator acting within Exploration & Production on the Norwegian Continental Shelf have a strategic requirement for a Team Leader to further strengthen their Geosciences & Geology team.
Involved in a number of high profile projects already and working hard to ensure success through future licence applications, this role will act as a great platform to candidates looking to step up from technical duties to a position of responsibility within management and ultimately the first step to becoming Exploration Manager.
It is expected and essential that you can demonstrate a longstanding knowledge and working background within Norway and in particular Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) projects. With a thorough and developed understanding and knowledge of Geosciences, you will also have been involved in economics, risk assessment/analysis, contract management, budget management, and of course license round applications. In addition, your technical experience will have included not only interpretation work but also prospect identification & evaluation. English language is necessary and it is also expected that through the required working background from Norway that you will have some Norwegian language skills. |
