Our client is a multi-discipline Oil Service Company providing Engineering design solutions for a number of Operators in both the Norwegian and UK areas of the North Sea.
Working on projects such as Alvheim or Auk, you will be involved in Technical Safety design and Specification work.
It is expected that due to the multi-disciplinary nature of their project portfolio, you will be working to both Norwegian NORSOK and UK regulations and standards.
Work will include but will not be limited to:
* developing Technical Safety requirement specifications
* fire safety design
* hazop and hazid studies
* following up IDCs
* general studies work
* EPCIC project work
With a demonstrable record of working within the Oil and Gas sector in Technical Safety, you will be involved to at least Senior or Lead Engineer status.
Experience within regulations (UK and Norwegian ideal), requirements and philosophies related to Safety Systems is essential.
General engineering experience from Engineering on Safety and/or Control Systems is also required.
It is hoped that your IT / computer skills will include MicroSoft Office as well as ProArc. |
